Our Story

I am Liz, the owner and main artist of Liz Paints. I have been drawing and painting all my life, but it was my daughter, a professional make up artist, who pushed me to test a new canvas. The look on a child’s face when they first see themselves after I paint them is what caught me - the glint in their eye and their smile!

I first tested this endeavor working part-time for a large local events company. I felt that the there was an enormous gap between what they charged and what they provided. I felt I could do a more professional job. I could provide true artistry with better designs, materials, and a more sanitary and professional set and appearance.

I love the magic face painting brings to children! Face painting is my forte, but I love to work with my daughter on body art and Festival Glitter Glam, as this brings together the best of painting and professional make up artistry.

We only utilize the best professional cosmetic quality paints which contain anti-bacterial properties, and are specifically for use on the face and body. These products are also hypoallergenic. The paints and glitters we utilize conform with US standards for cosmetics, and we follow the highest industry standards for sanitation and health.

I studied the best methods, researched and purchased the best materials and equipment, and opened Liz Paints.
